Rejuran S is a product from the Rejuran family, especially intended for the treatment of acne scars. Rejuran S contains long-chain polymer nucleotides derived from salmon DNA (PN). They have a high water-binding capacity and viscoelasticity which is suitable for rebuilding and improving the appearance of the skin.
Rejuran S (Scar) has the highest polynucleotide (PN) concentration of any other Rejuran injectable product as it is designed to heal scars.
Polynucleotides (PN) promote skin cell growth by stimulating fibroblasts and creating collagen. The polynucleotide provides the structural scaffold for inducing wound repair, collagen remodeling, and has anti-inflammatory effects.

How is the Rejuran S procedure performed?
After clinical evaluation, the skin is cleansed and an anesthetic cream is applied. Small amounts of Rejuran S are inserted at the base of the scar with a thin 30G needle. A topical antibiotic may be prescribed to help prevent infections.
